My big pal the devil on 4 legs has at last begun to respond to the Equus training he has become more patient and reluctantly trusting of certain people...his owners think he was hand raised after being orphaned either during, or after, birth and the abuse he suffered later on has completely destroyed his trust in people. We still have some way to go to restore this beautiful animal to his former self but we feel now that he wants to learn, which is a miracle in itself.

...Alex, Thank You for the seemingly change of mind...it was as though you were to Post no more of Isildur what with the lack of interest shown by fellow zoners. It is heartwarming to hear of this progress of this One magnificient that was so poorly treated not only near or at the time of birth, to be without that warm motherly nuzzle and then to later on know only abuse... People are great at destroying trust and it is truly good to know there are those folks that are giving of their time and skills to help bring Isildur to Becoming what he was intended. A miraclous happening being told in the midst of a bitter cold season, this time of the year when many times depression is high, well, this Story is uplifting. Thanks again, Alex. Maybe, just maybe, you will work Isisdur into your Stories.... You realize don't you that your stories give others, well me anyhow, to know a little more of the reaching out to ones in wheelchairs... Yes, Mom is in one and yet still, your stories, they teach. Isildur sounds as though many are the lessons in life that could be learned from him through your Stories.

I love horses, and i feel that they are truly among the more unique animals. I find it sad, and appalling that people would treat animals with such disrespect and utter contempt, and plain carelessness, but I guess that's just human nature in it's worst form.
I really and truly hope that he can be rehabilitated, and learn to trust humans again. I'm sorry, I should've looked at the horses name, I can't remember how to spell it, but you'll know what I mean.
And, please keep informing us of his progress.
Charis

ISILDUR. Was the son of the king of Gondor who cut the ring of power from Sauron's hand in the battle for middle-earth,he was later killed by orcs who were trying to recapture the ring for their dark lord.
...........................................................

And this ringbearer is definately 1 of a kind
